In 1973, our founder Jerry Brassfield stood on the volcanic hills of Lake County and saw something extraordinary. That land became High Serenity Ranch, and eventually, Brassfield Estate Winery as you know it today. Decades later, we created a wine that captures the soul of this place: KENDRA. Named for Jerry’s youngest daughter, it began as a quiet, personal project, made in limited quantities for family and close friends. Today, we are honored to share it with you.

Our journey began at Brassfield Estate Winery, a property unlike any other. Perched at rare elevations between 1,800 and 3,000 feet, our estate sits atop volcanic soils and is cooled by marine breezes that sweep through the High Valley AVA. This land is our muse. It shapes every grape, every vintage, and every bottle we produce. KENDRA was born from this place; a wine that reflects the purity, power, and elegance of our terroir.
KENDRA is crafted only in the finest years, using grapes from the most exceptional vineyard blocks on our estate. The 2021 vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Petit Verdot, made with meticulous care by our dedicated team. Every step, from vine to bottle, is rigourously tested by our Winemaking team and guided by our commitment to excellence and sustainability. This wine is bold yet graceful, layered yet refined. It truly is the culmination of everything we have envisioned for Brassfield Estate Winery.

This limited release marks our 25th anniversary, and it is our way of celebrating with those who appreciate the rare and the remarkable.
